State Bicycle Co. is offering a lot of value with its new 4130 All Road model. With two wheel options, 650b or 700c, flared dirt drops, a 1x drivetrain, disc brakes, and 450mm chainstays, the bike looks ready to do it all for a very nice $799 asking price. The bike is already sold out but you can sign up to be emailed when their back in stock at State. One interesting note, the drivetrain (shifter and rear derailleur) is a collaboration with Sensah. The shifters are SBC branded Sensah SRX pro and the RD is the SRX Pro with some internal modifications.July 21, 2020

Get this bike if: You're interested in getting into fixies but don't want to dish out the big bucks to make it happen. I rode a State for about a year before it got stolen. The bike always felt sturdy, didn't have any major issues (I upgraded the seat), and was used as my primary commuter for that time. Boyajian, on the other hand, isn't a huge fan of online bike stores in general but did recommend State if you're going to take that route.
