Super excited with my single speed purchase. It rides real smooth. The packaging was great and delivered ahead of time.
I just picked up my bicycle from the shop who assembled it and was very pleased as to its appearance. I wanted the matte color frame and black components to make a "sleeper" statement and the bike does just that. I ordered the 18 tooth freewheel cog to lower the gear ratio so that my old 85 year old knees would be happier.
Unfortunately, I will be unable to ride the bike as I was unable to throw my leg over the saddle and top tube while at the bike shop and fell while trying. Just one more thing I'm having to give up as a result of old age. Someone on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace is going to greatly enjoy this bike at a discounted price. Sad but accepting life in Folsom.

First off, I'm so sorry to hear this and hope you are ok after the fall. Reading your review genuinely made me want to reach out. It sounds like you had a clear vision for this bik and I hate that you didn't get the opportunity to enjoy it.
Getting older sometimes means adapting the way we do the things we love, but it doesn't necessarily mean giving them up entirely.

I love my bike, 10/10 amazing machine!
But….My bike arrived with a handlebar end cap that had fallen off and when I reached out to customer service asking to see if they could just shoot me one out in the mail their response was:
“ You would be better off just finding one at your local bike shop. We do not carry those individually on our website.”
Disappointing as it would be a very simple, very cheap request to fulfill.
I was looking for a new commuter bike and this immediately caught my eye. The color is absolutely beautiful and the ride is even better!!! I was worried at first by the price of the bike but it really punches up from that price tag in a big way. A wonderful bike makes for a wonderful life 💜

This is my second 4130 fixed gear from state bicycle. Was riding 25mm and 28mm tires for 9 years, on my road bike and fixed gear. Can't wait to try it on trails. Thank you State Bicycle.
I use it every day to commute. This bike is reliable: light but at the same time quite solid.
So happy with my purchase, I’m riding daily and admiring the bike hourly. Pictures taken constantly and simply staring at it for way longer than I probably should. The bike was exactly what I was looking for.
easy to put together. was questioning the tires but so far happy with them, even offroad. slow to get moving (due to weight and gear ratio) but once moving it wants to move. social ride group loves the bike. one of the members had been looking at these, after she did a test ride she plans on getting one for herself.
As it came, I didn't find it to be super comfortable, as I'm 6'5", and the included seat post is quite short in addition to the stock seat having almost no cushioning. After swapping the seat for the much thicker seat that came stock with my cross-country bike, however, it's so much more comfortable, so I highly recommend investing in a thicker seat if you're tall like me.
Other than that, though, it's a great bike, and I've loved riding it around these last few weeks.
Love my bike! It’s so pretty, light & fast. I get so many compliments. As a 4’11” lady, I love that it comes in 46cm/XS.
after two weeks i've put some mileage on the Lavender Haze Core-Line and have already received a ton of compliments on the bike. it rides great and i liked that i could easily switch to freewheel if i didn't enjoy the feel of fixed-gear riding, but riding this in fixed gear feels great and the default gear ratio is perfect for my city (44/16). most bikes i've bought with standard saddles aren't very comfortable, but this one feels pretty nice.
I've only had a chance to ride it once, but so far so good. The only issue with the bike was, one of the brake pads had come off in shipping and I couldn't find a washer.
I just love it, the color is AMAZING, it's smooth and much lighter than I thought, I made mistake and ordered drop bars when I only needed straights, but that's fine, it was my mistake 🥲 thank you guys, you are the best.
I absolutely adore my new Core-Line Wulf. It delivers on the promise of efficiency, nimbleness, lightweightness and good looks. I feel like my 10 year old self again on it with the promise of independence and endless adventure. Thanks State Bicycle Co.
So far a very good ride for Los Angeles
I love this bike so much. I moved to a new city recently and have been exploring on it every free moment I have. I think I'm becoming addicted to the feeling of wind in my face. The bike itself feels super smooth, quiet and solid. It's the first bike I've owned since I was a kid and it's a great gateway into the world of cycling. Overall it's been really fun and simple, with only a single gear. I've only been riding it consistently for 2 months and am excited to explore more and take it on an overnighter camping trip soon. It kinda makes me want a second bike from State already. You guys rock 🙌
I ordered my bike and it got here two business dayss later. Set up was so easy . I’m a heavy boy and live in a city so I thought this would be a great way to get my health in check. And I was right. This bike is so beginner friendly and easy to ride. Have ridden it to work every day since I got it. Love love!
